IV Trobada Steampunk

Yesterday was the IV Trobada Steampunk (4th Steampunk meeting) at Barcelona. An annual and informal Steampunk meeting in Barcelona. Maybe less important than our conventions and another steampunk catalan acts, but more funny than another serious events...

The place of our meeting was Park Güell, a unfinished garden city project designed by the modernist architect Antoni Gaudí.

The meeting point was at 11h at Olot Street doors. The famous salamander/dragon gate.

At 11h we were near to 20 people and along the morning we were near to 60 people! Until lunch time people plays with modified NERF guns, improvise silent films with the cameras and nice talkings about the park until 14h. Then we moved until the top of the hill to the picnic area to eat exotic food and some sweets.

After this we moved to the main square to rest and chat.

Under the main square it's setted the columns area. Too knowed like the market, 'cause at the original design this area should be a market, but never was a market! Nowadays you can listen usually some cello players at this area. Haves an awesome acoustic.

At this moment some people decides to back to home and rest, some people decided it's time to take a group pic. You can look at me like the tenth Doctor Who at left.

Before the park closes a last coffee at the terrace of a bar of the park.

At 19h the park closes and the people back to home or move to another place to have some drinks. Was a great day! And we know to we meet again so soon!
